manian Liga I side FCSB have reportedly presented a significant proposal involving South African defender Siyabonga Ngezana, with the club giving him the opportunity to recommend two South African players he would like to see join him in Romania.
According to the information circulating, FCSB are prepared to listen to Ngezana’s recommendations as they look to strengthen their squad with additional South African talent. The proposal has immediately sparked interest among South African football supporters, particularly because of the young players who have been making an impression in the domestic game.
Among the names being discussed are Mfundo Vilakazi and Tshepang Moremi, two players who have attracted attention for their ability and potential. Their names have now emerged as possible choices should Ngezana decide to recommend them to the Romanian club.
Vilakazi, in particular, has continued to generate significant interest because of his technical ability, creativity and potential to develop further at a European club. A move to Romania could provide him with an opportunity to experience European football and compete at a different level.
Moremi is also being mentioned as another potential option, with his performances and development making him a player who could attract interest from clubs outside South Africa.
For Ngezana, the reported proposal could also strengthen the growing connection between South African football and FCSB. Having already established himself in Romania, the defender could potentially play a role in helping other South African players adapt to European football if any recommendations eventually lead to transfers.
At this stage, there is no confirmed announcement that either Vilakazi or Moremi will join FCSB, and the situation remains subject to negotiations and the decisions of the players, their representatives and the clubs involved.
Should the reported offer materialise, however, it could become an interesting development for South African football, with two talented players potentially receiving an opportunity to take the next step in their careers abroad.
The big question now is: If Ngezana is given the chance to choose two South African players for FCSB, will Mfundo Vilakazi and Tshepang Moremi be his selections?
