Kaizer Chiefs Confirm Xolani Cossa Loan Move to Gomora FC
Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed that promising left centre-back Xolani Cossa will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at Gomora FC.
The 22-year-old defender, who came through the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy, will join the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in search of regular competitive football and valuable senior experience.
Cossa spent the previous campaign on loan at Botswana Premier League side Black Lions FC, and Chiefs believe another season of consistent football will help accelerate his development.
The club said the defender is expected to return to Naturena at the end of the season with greater experience and maturity. Cossa will also link up with fellow Chiefs youngster Sfiso Timba, who is already at Gomora FC.
The move forms part of Chiefs’ continued strategy of giving their academy graduates regular first-team exposure before bringing them back into the senior setup.
For Cossa, the season at Gomora represents another important opportunity to prove himself and push closer to a future place in the Kaizer Chiefs first team. 🟡⚫
