Shebe Maburna’s pre-trial hearing has been postponed to 10 September 2026, following the addition of two new charges to the case.

The postponement will allow the accused sufficient time to consult with his legal counsel and consider the newly added charges before the matter proceeds. The latest development means the case will now return to court next month, where further proceedings are expected to take place.
The court process remains ongoing, with Maburna’s legal team expected to use the additional time to prepare for the next stage of the matter.
The postponement comes as the case continues to attract public attention, with further details expected to emerge when the matter returns to court on 10 September 2026.
