Kaizer Chiefs shocking deal with Manqoba Mngqithi and Thembinkosi Lorch

According to a close source within the Amakhosi camp, Kaizer Chiefs could be preparing for a significant change behind the scenes as the club reportedly intensifies its efforts to bring Manqoba Mngqithi to Naturena.

Sources suggest that the Chiefs hierarchy is keeping its discussions private, with Kaizer Motaung Jr. reportedly holding a private meeting with Mngqithi to discuss the club’s future sporting direction and possible changes to the technical team.

The situation could have serious implications for current head coach Fernando Da Cruz, whose future at the club is reportedly uncertain. There are growing suggestions that Da Cruz could be shown the exit door if the club decides to pursue a different technical direction. However, no official announcement has been made regarding his position.

Interestingly, Mngqithi is reportedly not only being considered for the coaching position but has also been linked to discussions about strengthening the squad.

According to the same source, Elias Mokwana is one of the players Mngqithi would like to see at Naturena. The talented winger could bring additional attacking quality, pace and creativity to the Chiefs squad.

But that is not where the reported plans end.

Thembinkosi Lorch is another name reportedly being discussed as a potential addition. His experience, technical ability and attacking creativity could offer Amakhosi another dimension going forward.

If these reported plans materialise, Chiefs could be preparing for a major transformation, potentially combining a new technical direction with experienced and exciting attacking reinforcements.

For now, everything remains subject to negotiations and official confirmation. Neither Kaizer Chiefs nor the individuals mentioned have publicly confirmed these reports.

One thing is certain: Amakhosi supporters will be watching developments at Naturena closely.

Could Manqoba Mngqithi be the man entrusted with rebuilding Kaizer Chiefs, with Elias Mokwana and Thembinkosi Lorch forming part of his proposed plans? 👀

Love and Peace! ✌️
