Kaizer Chiefs could have an exciting attacking dimension with the potential inclusion of Elias Mokwana in their starting XI. His pace, direct approach and ability to create opportunities could bring a different level of energy to the Amakhosi attack.
Looking at this potential line-up, Brandon Petersen would take his place between the posts, with Thabo Moloisane, Miguel and Rushwin Dortley forming the defensive foundation.
On the flanks, Thabiso Monyane and Elias Mokwana could provide width, movement and attacking support, while Lebohang Maboe and Siphesihle Ndlovu would be tasked with controlling the midfield, winning possession and linking defence with attack.
Further forward, Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi could operate behind Khanyisa Mayo, offering creativity, technical ability and the vision needed to unlock opposition defences.
One of the biggest talking points is Mokwana’s potential role. His ability to take on defenders, stretch opposition backlines and deliver dangerous attacking contributions could give Chiefs another valuable weapon going forward.
POTENTIAL STARTING XI:
Petersen; Moloisane, Miguel, Dortley; Monyane, Maboe, Ndlovu, Mokwana; Shabalala, Vilakazi; Mayo.
On paper, this looks like an interesting combination of experience, youthful talent, creativity and attacking potential.
The big question is whether the technical team will consider this combination when selecting the starting XI.
Amakhosi supporters, would you be happy to see this team take the field? 💛✌️
Love and Peace!
