Kaizer Chiefs supporters have received encouraging news regarding the recovery of young attacker Langelihle Phili, with head coach Fernando Da Cruz providing a positive update on the player’s progress.
Da Cruz reportedly told the media that Phili could be back in action in around three weeks, giving Amakhosi fans renewed hope that the talented youngster will soon return to the squad.
One of the biggest positives from the latest update is that Phili is no longer working with crutches, an indication that his rehabilitation has progressed to another stage. The 20-year-old has been carefully monitored by the club’s medical and technical teams as he continues his recovery.
“Langelihle is progressing well. He is no longer using crutches, and we are happy with the improvement we are seeing. If everything continues according to plan, we expect him to be back in approximately three weeks,” Da Cruz is reported to have said.
Phili has already shown his potential since joining Kaizer Chiefs, and his return could provide the technical team with another attacking option as the season continues.
The club will, however, be expected to manage his comeback carefully rather than rushing him into competitive action. A gradual return to full training will allow the medical team to assess his fitness before he is considered for selection.
For Chiefs supporters, the message is simple: Phili is getting closer. His progress will be closely followed over the coming weeks, with fans eagerly waiting to see the young attacker back on the pitch in the famous gold and black.
