CONFIRMED: Olivier Sorin Sacked by Kaizer Chiefs!

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly made a major decision behind the scenes, with goalkeeper coach Olivier Sorin now sacked by the club. The move represents a significant change to the Amakhosi technical team and is likely to spark plenty of discussion among supporters.

Sorin was brought into the Kaizer Chiefs setup with the responsibility of working closely with the club’s goalkeepers, improving their performances, confidence and consistency. However, after a period in charge, the club has now decided to part ways with the French coach.

The decision comes at a time when the goalkeeper department has faced increased scrutiny. Errors and inconsistent performances between the posts have frustrated supporters, with questions being raised about whether the team is getting the best possible results from its goalkeepers.

Although individual mistakes on the field cannot always be blamed on the goalkeeper coach, the position carries enormous responsibility, particularly at a club of Kaizer Chiefs’ size. Every mistake can have serious consequences, and management is expected to make difficult decisions when performances do not meet expectations.

Sorin’s departure now means Chiefs will have to consider the next step for the goalkeeper department. The club could look internally for a temporary solution or begin searching for a new specialist who can bring fresh ideas and improve the performances of the goalkeepers.

For head coach Fernando Da Cruz and the rest of the technical team, the challenge will be maintaining stability while ensuring that the change does not negatively affect the squad.

The decision is certain to divide opinion among Amakhosi supporters. Some fans may believe Sorin deserved more time, while others could see his departure as necessary to address problems that have been visible on the pitch.

What happens next could be just as important as Sorin’s departure. Will Kaizer Chiefs appoint an experienced replacement, or will they promote someone already within the club?

One thing is clear: the Amakhosi technical setup has undergone another major change, and fans will be watching closely to see whether it produces the desired results.

I agree with Doctor Khumalo was supposed to keep Mhoughi because Brendon Peterson was playing very good in pools i am asking myself whether Bobby and Kaizer Junior are they so blind so that they cannot see the best of Goalkeepers coach even best players are gone because of this new coach we have lost two best players they must bring back Goal keeper coach Mhoughi and employ another coach the coach who use to coach Athletio Madrid from Brazil
