Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando Da Cruz has revealed his starting XI for today’s highly anticipated encounter against Polokwane City, with the Amakhosi looking to secure another important result.

The Chiefs technical team has opted for a strong lineup, with Brandon Petersen getting the nod between the posts. The goalkeeper will be expected to provide leadership and stability at the back as Chiefs prepare for what could be a challenging encounter.

In defence, Dillan Solomons, Zitha Kwinika, Miguel and Thabo Moloisane have been selected to form the defensive unit. The four defenders will have the responsibility of keeping Polokwane City’s attacking players under control while also helping Chiefs build from the back.

The midfield features Lebohang Maboe, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Mfundo Vilakazi. The trio will be crucial in helping Chiefs control possession, win the midfield battle and create opportunities for the attacking players.

Up front, Da Cruz has selected Pule Mmodi, Mduduzi Shabalala and Wandile Duba. The attacking trio will be tasked with putting pressure on the Polokwane City defence and converting the opportunities that come their way.
