Tito Maswanganyi Reportedly Faces Questions Over Conduct
Orlando Pirates midfielder Patrick “Tito” Maswanganyi is reportedly facing renewed scrutiny over his conduct, with claims of anger issues and an attitude towards head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou adding another layer to the growing discussion around the player.
The situation has attracted attention following previous tension between Maswanganyi and Ouaddou. During a half-time team talk in 2026, the Pirates coach was visibly frustrated with the midfielder and challenged him to take the game more seriously. Reports surrounding the incident described a heated exchange between the two.
There have also been suggestions that Maswanganyi’s temperament and reactions have occasionally frustrated the technical team. However, the extent of any disciplinary action, and whether his alleged attitude has directly contributed to a suspension, has not been officially confirmed by Orlando Pirates.
The midfielder remains an important player for the Buccaneers, and the relationship between him and Ouaddou will therefore be closely watched. Interestingly, the coach recently praised Maswanganyi publicly, describing him as a clever player and highlighting his commitment and importance to the team.
For now, claims regarding a suspension or disciplinary action should be treated as unconfirmed reports until the club or the player provides an official explanation.
One thing is certain: if there is indeed tension behind the scenes, Pirates supporters will want to know exactly what happened — and whether Tito’s relationship with Coach Ouaddou has reached a breaking point. 👀

I think Tito have anger issues, I saw that on the last game we played against Chipa United he pushed their player down to the ground,I heared him also saying that since the coach came in he is always on his case. What I can say is that Tito must voice this to management if there is any misunderstanding between them so that it can be ironed out.He is now pi king his form up he mustn’t destroy himself with petty issues.
Maswangayi’s attitude is not accepted at all. He is one of senior players and he need to lead by example so younger players can learn good things not negativity. We love the boy so much as he is the core of our team. Any player can be substituted nor matter he was having an asset on the field of play. Each and every coach always think about coming games. As soon coach saw that he have won the game, its time for fridge players to get opportunity and by doing so it helps other players to adapt on style of play and that is back-up when it comes to injuries, Tito need to know that he is not bigger than club and he continues it will kill his carier to…….Up the Bucks
Tito is the best player for pirates and for coach he need to respect player not favouritism
