Dreaming of becoming the next big name in South African football? This could be your opportunity to take the first step towards playing in the PSL DStv Diski Challenge (DDC). Young footballers across the country are being encouraged to take advantage of trial opportunities and showcase their talent in front of professional coaches and scouts.
DDC trial application forms are now available online, and applications are FREE.
The opportunities are open to young players from U13 and upwards, including players up to U20. If you have the talent, discipline, confidence and determination to compete at a higher level, this is your chance to put yourself forward and show what you can do on the football pitch.
The 16 PSL clubs have reserve teams competing at development level, and clubs are constantly looking for promising young players who can strengthen their squads and potentially progress into professional football. For many youngsters, a DDC opportunity can become an important pathway towards senior football.
Whether you are a striker who knows how to find the back of the net, a midfielder with creativity and vision, a defender who loves making crucial tackles, or a goalkeeper who can make important saves, your opportunity could be waiting for you.
Do not allow fear or doubt to stop you. Apply, prepare and give yourself a chance.
Players interested in attending trials should make sure they complete the application process correctly and provide accurate information. It is also important to verify all trial information through official club or PSL channels and to be careful of individuals asking for money in exchange for guaranteed selection. Legitimate opportunities should always be verified before submitting personal information.
Parents and guardians are also encouraged to support young players throughout the process, especially younger applicants.
Your football journey does not have to end at local level. One opportunity can change everything.
U13 to U20 — the next generation of South African football stars could be among you.
If you have the dream, the talent and the determination, this is the time to step forward and make your football ambitions known.
APPLY NOW. ATTEND THE TRIALS. SHOW YOUR TALENT. CHASE THE DREAM.
