Thembinkosi Lorch Speaks About His Visit to Naturena

Thembinkosi Lorch has opened up about his recent visit to Naturena, explaining that his trip to the Kaizer Chiefs training grounds was simply about reconnecting with people close to him.

The former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star revealed that one of the main reasons behind his visit was to check on his friends and former teammates, Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala.

“I went there to check on my boys, Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala. It’s been a long time without seeing my gents.”

Lorch’s visit immediately attracted attention from supporters, with many fans wondering whether his presence at Naturena could be linked to a possible move to Kaizer Chiefs. However, his comments suggest that the visit was primarily personal, giving him an opportunity to spend time with the two young talents.

Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala are regarded as two of the exciting young players at Kaizer Chiefs, and Lorch’s decision to visit them highlights the relationship he has built with the younger generation of South African footballers.

The visit also sparked plenty of discussion among football supporters on social media, particularly given Lorch’s history in South African football and his popularity among fans.

For now, Lorch has made it clear that his trip to Naturena was about checking on his “gents” and catching up after spending a long period without seeing them.

Whether the visit will lead to anything more remains to be seen, but for Lorch, it appears the priority was simply friendship, support and reconnecting with people he considers close to him.
